A very special Huawei Watch found its way onto the wrists of fashion V.I.P.’s and insiders at China VOGUE’s glamorous tenth anniversary party at the end of Milan Fashion Week.
Huawei Watch made its triumphant Fashion Week debut in Milan at a roaring bash hosted by VOGUE China on the occasion of its tenth anniversary. The swanky event proved quite a fitting way for Milan Fashion Week to close.
Famous fashion photographer Mario Testino and top model Karlie Kloss (who looked stunning and long-legged in her black mini dress), helped the host of the evening, VOGUE China’s founding editor-in-chief Angelica Cheung, celebrate with champagne flowing freely all throughout the night.
The impressive historic Palazzo Reale, Milan’s former royal palace, was the venue for the glam bash.
In celebration of the event Huawei gifted exclusive Limited Edition sets of specially designed Fornasetti watches in an exclusive green box to the guests – sure to make everyone green with envy.
It was the latest and by far the most star-studded in a series of fashionable events that put the Huawei Watch on the map of the fashion scene. And by far the most extravagant.
After all, it is hard to beat a guest list that features fashion A-listers such as Giorgio Armani, fashion designers Jeremy Scott and Veronica Etro, top model Sean O’Pry, as well as countless fashion editors and influencers.
But the real guest of honor was the Fornasetti-themed exclusive edition of Huawei Watch, a model developed especially for the occasion.
A night to remember – with a special souvenir as a give-away.
On their way out, guests were given the exclusive Limited Edition Fornasetti Huawei Watch, in a green box (to match the green wrist band modeled after the malachite of Fornasetti’s designs).
The Fornasetti designs are a favourite amongst the fashion crowd, his surrealistic and playful motifs adorn lifestyle accessories from cushions to fragrant candles. The Limited Edition Fornasetti Huawei Watch comes with a selection of his iconic black and white motifs, which include images from his famed “Tema e Variazioni” series as well as his keyhole design, all set off against the striking malachite green hue of the strap and gift box.
A larger-than-life projection of one of the black and white Fornasetti watchfaces (a portrait of 19th century Italian opera singer, Lina Cavalieri) was projected onto the ceiling of the Palazzo Reale, shining down on the attendees like a surrealistic full moon.
The fashion crowd being the fashion crowd, it was hardly surprising that quite a few enthusiastic guests showed off their valuable gift on Instagram and Twitter right away…
